The High Season Calendar

Here at Anjou Golf, we enjoy the game and we enjoy competitions.  Our aim is to cultivate a friendly atmosphere with plenty of action for players of all levels and of course to promote the game!  High season competitions from April through to November vary from the standard classification competition validated by the French Golf Federation (FFG) through to our sponsored trophies and cups.  All are welcome to join simply by contacting the club and talking to Franc, our front desk and sports director.  Franc speaks English, Dutch, French and German, so make time for a chat!  Our summer championship runs throughout the months of July and August.  Another longstanding favorite is the RDP (named after the founder of the golf Roland de La Poype).  This competition takes place on Fridays and is followed by lunch.

The Winter Ryder Cup

During winter, our members participate in the Sunday 9-hole Ryder Cup competitions managed by our Member’s Association.  These friendly games start with a shotgun tee-off and are also followed by lunch in the clubhouse.  `

Ladies Games

Year-round we are always pleased to host the ladies’ amateur competitions (the Competition Amateur d’Entrainement Feminine — CAEF) which are organized by the golf league for our region (Ligue de Golf de Maine et Loire).  The CAEF aim to encourage women to take part in competitions without feeling pressured and regardless of handicap.

Dynamic Seniors

Senior players are a dynamic force for the club, with the annual Seniors Trophy and the games organized by and for the Seniors of the Loire Valley counties (Seniors Golfeurs Pays de La Loire — SGPDLL).

We make a point of opening our competitions to all golfers, please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
